Jeremy Sinkus

Jeremy Sinkus first started working with glass in 2002, and was blown away by the possibilities of expression he could learn to reflect in this medium. Using silver, gold and other metals he can achieve a vast array of colors and textures ranging from organic to clear and iridescent. Perfect for creating the art-forms influenced by his fascination with the natural world. "Glass just brings the ocean out of me" When Jeremy is not scuba diving for more inspiration in Hawaii or the Caribbean, he is digging and prospecting for interesting rocks as well as gemstones. He is an avid mineral and fossil collector and does this across the country as it is also a major influence to his work.

Using a specialy designed torch, he melts rods and tubes of borosilicate glass at around 3000 degrees to sculpt these pieces of art.
